Robert Santana, a native of Orange County, is a dynamic community leader with a remarkable background in the United States Air Force, law enforcement, and child development. After serving for four years in the Air Force, he found his calling in impacting the lives of young people at the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Ana. From volunteer to Director of Operations and eventually CEO, Robert oversaw significant growth, expanding the Club’s reach and programs through a five-city Club merger into Costa Mesa, Irvine, Orange, and Newport Beach. His dedication earned him recognition, including the Boys & Girls Clubs of America Blue Spirit Award and Pacific Regional CEO of the year. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, his leadership resulted in a strategic reopening plan, setting a precedent for Boys & Girls Clubs across the nation. Robert’s commitment extends beyond his role, as he actively contributes to community task forces and serves as a valuable resource to non-profit groups. His leadership has transformed the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast into a premier organization in the Pacific Region, driven by his unwavering commitment to integrity, service, and excellence. Robert holds an MBA in organizational leadership, a Bachelor of Science in Child & Adolescent Development, and various teaching certifications, underlining his unique blend of experience and passion.
