The mission of the Coastal Commission is to protect, conserve, restore, and enhance environmental and human-based resources of the California coast and ocean for environmentally sustainable and prudent use by current and future generations.

Come hear about…

• The goals of the Coastal Act and the role of the Commission as a State agency
• Who are the Commissioners and how they are selected
• How we reconcile local preferences and needs with state priorities in a dynamic climate

The meeting will also feature updates from representatives of selected County, State and Federal officials.
