Irrelevant Week is coming to Newport June 20 – 22!

Irrelevant Week will kick off with its signature event, the Lowsman Banquet, at the Cannery Seafood of the Pacific on June 20th at 5:30pm. In addition to the Lowsman Trophy, Irrelevant Week is proud to bestow the Paul Salata “Hero Beyond the Hash Marks” Award to an individual that has shown exemplary character towards supporting the “underdog” in their community. This year, the honoree is Ron Salisbury, a legendary restaurateur with a passion for sports that has been a long standing supporter of charitable initiatives across Southern California.

A Newport Pier Pub Crawl is planned for Wednesday, June 22. Irrelevant fans have a chance to toast Mr. Irrelevant and show their game. Crawlers are gathering at Baja Sharkeez at the Newport Pier at 5:30. The Stag and Blackie’s are in the plan with the finish line at Mutt Lynch’s for an Irrelevant-based Trivia night. No charge. Just fun!
