Christopher Schwarz

Christopher Schwarz is a Professor of Finance at UC Irvine’s Paul Merage School of Business as well as the Faculty Director for the Center for Investment and Wealth Management. During his time at UCI, he has been published in all leading academic and practitioner finance journals. His research has also been cited by the New York Times, LA Times, Wall Street Journal, and the Financial Times and provided a number of economic forecasts in the community. Prior to arriving at UCI, Christopher received his Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, during which he was also a Visiting Doctoral Fellow at Yale University’s International Center of Finance. He received his B.S. from Babson College in Wellesley, MA.

Jordan G. Levine

Jordan Levine is the Vice President & Chief Economist at the California Association of REALTORS® (C.A.R.), a statewide trade organization of real estate professionals with more than 200,000 members.

Jordan is responsible for C.A.R.’s housing market and economic research as well as policy analysis for C.A.R.’s legislative and governmental affairs efforts. He has a passion for homeownership, fair housing, and housing supply, and regularly represents C.A.R. to its members, industry groups, policymakers, and in the local and national media.

Jordan has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Master’s degree with Merit in International Economics from the University of Sussex. Prior to joining C.A.R., Jordan worked in consulting as an economist and director of economic research covering all aspects of California’s economy and housing market for clients ranging from cities, counties, and the state to private businesses and academic institutions.
