The Ambassador Council composes of business leaders who generously give their time as member volunteers dedicated to educating and informing members about the Chamber’s vast programs, services, and benefits by encouraging members to take full advantage of these services. Ambassadors accumulate points at the end of each month by attending events, encouraging member involvement, and volunteering at various Chamber-hosted events. The Ambassador with the most points by the end of each month is awarded Ambassador of the Month.
Sheldon Singleton has been awarded Ambassador of the Month for September 2024.
Sheldon has more than 25 years’ experience in technology, leadership, sales and entrepreneurship and is a passionate reader on influence, mindset, sales, and communication. Sheldon has served in positions as a manufacturing engineer; quality manager (wrote quality manual and lead in certifying a company to ISO 9000); test lab manager (co-authored USB 2.0 Cable and Connector Test Specification); partner of an office in the financial services industry where he trained agents on concepts, products, and sales techniques; and an area director of a business networking organization where he opened chapters, trained entrepreneurs, and sales professionals on networking. Sheldon currently sits in leadership positions in the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce in Newport Beach, CA and is a member of the Commodores Club of the Newport Beach Chamber. Sheldon has received multiple leadership awards form the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce. Sheldon is a graduate of Leadership Tomorrow “Orange County” Class of 2016, a program that promotes Leadership in your community.
