The Ambassador Council composes of business leaders who generously give their time as member volunteers dedicated to educating and informing members about the Chamber’s vast programs, services, and benefits by encouraging members to take full advantage of these services. Ambassadors accumulate points at the end of each month by attending events, encouraging member involvement, and volunteering at various Chamber-hosted events. The Ambassador with the most points by the end of each month is awarded Ambassador of the Month.
Ryan Magdaleno, a valued Chamber member since January 2022, has been awarded Ambassador of the Month for January 2024! This award follows his celebrated title as the 2023 Ambassador of the Year, honored at the 2023 Mayor’s Reception.
With over two decades of experience as a Credit Union Branch Manager, Ryan brings a wealth of expertise in sales management, team leadership, and customer service to the table. His journey in the financial sector began as an intern with Washington Mutual during his senior year of high school, where his passion for assisting others blossomed.
Community engagement has always been a priority for Ryan throughout his career. Upon joining the Chamber of Commerce, he identified the Ambassadors Program as a perfect way of giving back to the community he holds dear.
One of Ryan’s greatest joys within the Ambassador program is connecting with diverse individuals and businesses across Newport Beach and surrounding cities. He genuinely enjoys the opportunity to support their growth and provide financial guidance and education to both employees and their families.
Ryan eagerly volunteers at various Chamber events, with a particular fondness for ribbon cuttings, community appreciation gatherings, mixers, and the iconic Christmas Boat Parade.
