Supervisor Lisa Bartlett was elected to the Orange County Board of Supervisors in 2014 and was reelected to office in 2018. She represents the Fifth District, which includes Aliso Viejo, Costa Mesa, Dana Point, a large portion of Irvine, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Newport Beach, San Clemente and San Juan Capistrano and the unincorporated communities of Coto de Caza, Emerald Bay, Ladera Ranch, Las Flores, Rancho Mission Viejo, Stonecliffe and Wagon Wheel.

Bartlett was born and raised in Southern California and has been a resident of South Orange County for more than 30 years. Prior to her role as a supervisor, she was elected to the Dana Point City Council and served as both mayor and mayor pro-tem for the city. Bartlett is committed to preserving and protecting the quality of life for Orange County residents. She is a strong proponent of fiscal responsibility, accountability, and greater transparency in government. Her top priorities include, preserving the health, safety and economic well-being of Orange County communities; improving mobility and relieving traffic congestion in Orange County, ensuring taxpayer dollars are spent wisely, and streamlining County operations by leveraging public-private partnerships.

Bartlett currently represents the County on several regional boards and commissions including, but not limited to, the Orange County Transportation Authority, Transportation Corridor Agencies and the Executive Committee for the California State Association of Counties (CSAC).

Her professional career spans several decades and includes executive management positions at a worldwide computer software company, a project management consulting firm and several law firms. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from California State University Fullerton and an MBA from Pepperdine University, and she is also a Certified Project Management Professional and licensed Real Estate Broker.
