NETWORKING: Investments in Social Capital
Networking is the process of building capital through relationships with other people who come to one’s aid when needed. Social scientists call this asset Social Capital, and many times it is worth more than financial capital or intellectual capital. In fact, social capital leads business people to financial capital and intellectual capital and must be built long before one can expect to build other kinds of capital. These relationships are built over time and not at a networking event.
Come join us for good, face to face networking. Enjoy a delicious lunch and Free Parking.
Sponsored by the Orange County Chapter of the UCLA Anderson Alumni Network.
Special Guest Speaker
Managing Director Project Pro Search
Ken Tudhope left Fluor in 2005 and started a new profession and built a new company with nothing more than his rolodex of thousands of friends. After 10 years, Ken has sold more than $20 million in search service and interim consulting revenue. Ken has the reputation of knowing more people working in finance and accounting in Orange County than any other person.
