NETWORKING: Investments in Social Capital
Networking is the process of building capital through relationships with other people who come to one’s aid when needed. Social scientists call this asset Social Capital, and many times it is worth more than financial capital or intellectual capital. In fact, social capital leads business people to financial capital and intellectual capital and must be built long before one can expect to build other kinds of capital. These relationships are built over time and not at a networking event.
Come join us for good, face to face networking. Enjoy a delicious lunch and Free Parking.
Sponsored by the Orange County Chapter of the UCLA Anderson Alumni Network.
