It’s common for successful startups to scale. This growth is often thought of solely in financial terms; however in Bianca’s case, the scaling was fueled by unplanned and unexpected good fortune.

Join UCI Beall Applied Innovation at The Cove on Tuesday, July 13 from 12 – 1pm (PT) for a virtual conversation with Bianca Gates, Co-Founder and CEO of Birdies, the company that created a new category of footwear with stylish flats that are secretly slippers.

Ms. Gates will discuss her first job, how she founded Birdies, and scaling the unexpected.

This event is held online and free to the public.
