Host Robert Irvine of the Food Network show is trying to revive Filomena’s Italian Kitchen on Newport Boulevard
Fans of the Food Network’s “Restaurant: Impossible” show will not want to miss this opportunity to possibly appear on an episode. Host Robert Irvine is coming to Orange County to revive Filomena’s Italian Kitchen at 2400 Newport Blvd. in Costa Mesa. Over the years, the restaurant has received positive write-ups in The Orange County Register, dubbed a Top 75 Best Places to Eat in Orange County in 2017 and a great place to eat near the OC Fair when you don’t want carnival food. Brad A. Johnson has written favorably about its pizza and pasta and in 2013 called it, “… a charming little Italian-American restaurant with 30 seats and usually, just one waiter. It’s still undiscovered.”
