Come join the fun and experience festive foods, beverages, vendors, live entertainment, and many raffle prize opportunities!

Palm Island Senior Apartment Homes in Fountain Valley will host the Third Annual Chef Off fundraising event on Thursday, September 15, 2016.

Four chefs from local senior assisted living homes will serve Hawaii-inspired gourmet dishes to raise money and awareness for Alzheimer’s Family Services Center. Guests will be able to vote for their favorite dishes among the following:

(1) Chef Glen Culbertson from Huntington Terrace
Deconstructed Kalua Pork Slider with pickled onions, pan sauce
Purple Sweet Potato Salad
Blue Hawaiian Sweet Tea

(2) Chef Erwin M. Lazaro from Sunrise Senior Living
Coconut Shrimp
Pineapple Coconut Cole Slaw
Cantaloupe juice with pineapple slices

(3) Chef John Lenio from The Groves
Beef Short Ribs with smoked pineapple BBQ sauce
Island slaw
Kona iced coffee with toasted coconut cream

(4) Chef Mark Gagnon from Newport Beach Plaza
Macadamia Nut Crusted Chicken with sweet soy glaze and chives;
Hawaiian Mac n’ Cheese with toasted almonds and coconut with pineapple cilantro;
Waikiki punch

ALOHA ADMISSION
$15 PER PERSON (Includes entry, lunch ticket with voting and 10 raffle tickets)

MAHALO VIP
$25 PER PERSON (Includes entry, lunch ticket with voting, 20 raffle tickets, and opportunity drawing for a $200 visa card)
