Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce Marine Committee – January 3, 2017

The Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce Marine Committee meets once a month to provide information and education on all  topics that are “marine oriented”. The meetings are open to the public and will be held at 5pm the 1st Tuesday of the month at the Marina Park located on Newport Harbor in Newport Beach.

  • A sailor at the harbor entrance on the west jetty 
  • A Sea King on the east jetty, in keeping with the mascots of the two high schools
  • Statues at the three channel markers around the bay…

    • Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo (first European explorer to sail the California coast) at Bay Island
    • Vasco Nunez de Balboa off the point near Turquoise and the South Bayfront of Balboa Island
