Come to the return of the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee. The meeting will highlight local political and legislative issues impacting business and the community as a whole. With featured guest speakers and an interactive format allowing for Q and A, this is a great place to stay in the know on local governmental happenings. Registration is not needed.

The April meeting will feature Aaron Harp, City Attorney for the City of Newport Beach.

Harp has been the City Attorney for the City of Newport Beach since 2011 and was previously the Assistant City Attorney from 2005 to 2009. He attended University of San Diego Law School and San Diego State where he received a bachelor degree in economics.

He will talk about the City Attorney’s Office and how to maximize efficiencies as well as current election law issues.
