30th Annual Balboa Island Parade

Please join us this year in celebrating our Parade and Fire Station #4 opening, 30 years ago. Whether you are a participant or a spectator, we want to see all your “Island” spirit helping us thank our firefighters, police, paramedics, harbor patrol and lifeguards that keep us safe on Balboa Island. Wear your red, white, and blue, grab your beach chairs and come for the parade and stay for the after-party which starts immediately following the parade in front of the fire station.
The parade is filled with Children on Bikes, Island Dogs, Decorated Golf Carts and Floats, Horses, Decorated Cars, Keystone Cops, Drill Teams, USC Marching Band, School Bands, Local Dignitaries and much more! It begins on the Balboa Island Bridge and continues down Marine Avenue.
If you would like to be a participant in the parade you may register online at biia.org, click EVENTS, click PARADE, or pick up parade registration entry forms at the following Balboa Island merchants, Irvine Ranch Market and Wilma’s. Registration closes on May 16th. To SPONSOR or help VOLUNTEER visit our website at biia.org.
The bridge closes at 10:45 am, so get here early!
