FREE SAT/ACT Practice Test And College Admission Workshop

iiiTutor Doctor provides FREE SAT® or ACT practice tests for students who want to test their performance in the same environment as a real test and/ or to determine which test would be most appropriate for their success. While students are taking the tests, parents can also attend a free workshop to learn about college admissions and how to apply for financial aid awards and scholarships.

Our next SAT® or ACT practice test date and college admission workshop will be held tomorrow (Saturday, January 13, 2018). Start time: 8:30 am
End time: 12 pm for students and 10 am for parents
Location: Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center.

Instructions if you decide to register:

What to bring:

  • Several No. 2 pencils
  • Pencil sharpener
  • Hi-Polymer eraser
  • Graphing calculator
  • Watch or a permitted timer

What not to bring:

  • Cell phone (unless it stays muted in your bag)
  • Textbooks, notes, study aids
  • Pens, highlighters, whiteout

Test Format:

The SAT test will consist of the following subjects:

  • Reading – 65 minutes
  • Writing – 35 minutes
  • Math (no calculator) – 25 minutes
  • Math (calculator) – 55 minutes

The ACT test will consist of the following subjects:

  • English – 45 minutes
  • Math – 60 minutes
  • Reading – 35 minutes
  • Science – 35 minutes

What can you expect after the test:

After the test, we will score the tests and will contact you to arrange a free consultation wherein we will present you with your results. During the consultation, we will show you the score report (sample report here). The score report includes all subjects and their scores as well as the correct answer to each question. It also highlights strengths to maintain and weaknesses to improve on. We will review the results with you and provide an overview of the Tutor Doctor platform.
