 n was requested to stay in Washington\, D.C. to deal with the fallout of t
 he shutdown. Therefore\, he will not be at WAKE UP! Newport tomorrow morni
 ng. However\, Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce President and C.E.O. will 
 be there with coffee\, bagels\, and donuts for those that wish to network.

 n $100 million to advance groundbreaking research\, improve health outcome
 s\, and fund life-changing programs for children\, families\, and communit
 ies.\nSince April 2021\, Deborah has served as Executive Director of the A
 lzheimer’s Association Orange County Chapter—where she leads a dedicat
 ed team in the fight to end this devastating disease.\n\nHer career in the
  nonprofit sector is marked by a track record of exceptional growth and im
 pact. As Executive Director for The Leukemia &amp\; Lymphoma Society’s O
 range\, San Bernardino\, and Riverside Counties\, she more than doubled re
 venue\, fueling critical cancer research and patient services. Before that
 \, she served as President &amp\; CEO of United Cerebral Palsy of Orange C
 ounty\, leading a team of 250 to expand programs for children with special
  needs. She began her nonprofit career at Ronald McDonald House Charities 
 of Southern California\, the largest RMHC Chapter in North America.\n\nDee
 ply committed to improving health equity\, Deborah has served on numerous 
 Boards including the UC Irvine Medical Center Chao Family Comprehensive Ca
 ncer Center Community Equity Board. She is also the founder of The Levy Gr
 oup\, a consulting practice supporting emerging nonprofits through strateg
 ic planning\, fundraising\, and board development.\nBefore entering the no
 nprofit world\, Deborah was an award-winning television news anchor and in
 vestigative reporter for CBS affiliates in Missouri\, Florida\, and Nevada
 . She holds a degree in Political Science from UCLA.\n\nA California nativ
 e\, Deborah lives in Irvine with her husband Adam\, daughter Jadyn\, and t
