 ve Director\n\nAs Executive Director for the Association of California Cit
 ies – Orange County (ACC-OC)\, Kris Murray brings more than 30 years of 
 executive management experience\, serving public agencies and private indu
 stry across Southern California.\n\nPrior to ACC-OC\, Kris founded the con
 sulting firm KLM Strategies\, Inc. specializing in consulting services to 
 advance sustainable projects\, including energy efficiency\, mobility solu
 tions\, water resources\, and programs that build and maintain resilient c
 ommunities.\n\nPreviously\, Kris served as Executive Director of Governmen
 t Affairs for the Orange County Transportation Authority. Kris also held p
 rior positions as Senior Vice President at the Orange County Business Coun
 cil and began her career in Washington\, D.C. as a senior legislative aide
  to U.S. Representative Steve Horn (CA-38)\, serving as a senior legislati
 ve assistant and liaison to the House Transportation and Infrastructure Co
 mmittee.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nKris is a gubernatorial appointee to the California
  Water Regional Quality Control Board for Region 8\, currently serving as 
 Chair of the Board. She also serves on the boards of the Orange County Con
 servation Corps\, Southern California Water Coalition\, as well as a membe
 r of United Way’s United to End Homelessness Leadership Council\n\nKris 
 is the former Mayor Pro Tem and at-large councilwoman in the City of Anahe
 im (2010-2018). During her tenure on the Anaheim City Council\, Kris serve
 d two terms as chair of the Orange County Council of Governments (OCCOG) a
 nd served as a board member of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern
  California (MWD)\, Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG)\
 , Association of California Cities–Orange County (ACC-OC)\, League of Ca
 lifornia Cities – Orange County Division\, and Transportation Corridor A
