 fied California state income tax treatment of incomplete non-grantor (ING)
  trusts\, requiring the income of an ING trust to be reported in a qualifi

 as defined by the Internal Revenue Code\, California will treat it as a gr
 antor trust for state income tax purposes\, effective retroactive to Janua
 ry 1\, 2023. This “death of INGs” in California has caused residents t
