 Fresno. He graduated from Stanford University (B.A. History) where he lett
 ered on the track and field team. He then graduated from U.C. Hastings Col
 lege of the Law (J.D.). He has served on the U.C. Hastings Board of Govern
 ors\, most recently as President during the 2016/2017 term.\n\nMr. O'Neill
  is a partner with the law firm of Ross\, Wersching &amp\; Wolcott\, LLP.
  He previously worked for California Supreme Court Justice Marvin Baxter (
 Ret.)\, the California Court of Appeal (Fifth Appellate District)\, and Da
 llas-based firm Haynes &amp\; Boone\, LLP.\n\nMr. O’Neill is the current
  Chair of the Newport Beach Finance Committee. He previously served on the
  Finance Committee as a Council Member and as a citizen member. He is als
 o a member of the Newport Harbor Exchange Club\, Board Member of the Assoc
 iation of Business Trial Lawyers\, past Trustee of the Celtic Bar Associat
 ion\, as well as an active attendee of Mariners Church.\n\nMr. O’Neill
 ’s wife\, Jenny\, is a former elementary school teacher. They met at the
  Stanford-USC football game in 2007. They have two children who will hopef
 ully understand someday how blessed they are to be raised in Newport Beach
