 orks for the City of Newport Beach and came to the City with over thirty-o
 ne years of diverse administration\, management and engineering experience
  in both municipal and private project design &amp\; construction\, includ
 ing land development &amp\; entitlement processing.  Dave oversees the Ci
 ty’s $74 million Capital Improvement Program\, Civil and Transportation 
 Engineering\, Public Right-of-Way Development and Permitting\, Capital Pro
 ject Construction and Inspection\, Traffic and Signal System operations\, 
 Surface Water Quality Compliance and Conservation\, and Municipal Maintena
 nce Operation.  Prior to being promoted to Director of Public Works for t
 he City in August 2012\, He served as the cities Deputy Director of Public
  Work &amp\; City Engineer for five years.  Prior to Newport Beach\, Mr. 
 Webb enjoyed 16 years with the City on Huntington Beach where he served as
  City Engineer and Deputy Director of Public Works over Utilities and Main
 tenance Operations.   Before this\, he worked for several consulting fir
 ms including HDR Engineering and Ott Engineering.\n\nMr. Webb earned a Mas
 ter Degree in Public Administration from California State University\, Lon
 g Beach as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from 
 California State Polytechnic University\, Pomona.  He is also licensed as
  a Registered Professional Civil Engineer in California.\n\nOutside of wor
 k\, Dave leads an active family life with his wife and three children\, in
 cluding boating\, camping\, traveling.  He also enjoys gardening and home
  improvement projects (pending available time and funding).[/vc_column_tex
