  the art of taking selfies\, one Newport Beach restaurant is riding the tr
 end by conducting a contest to find the most creative\, visually interesti
 ng and unusual selfie in time for National Selfie Day on Wednesday\, June
  21.  Bayside Restaurant\, the critically acclaimed Newport Beach dining 
 establishment\, is encouraging participants to submit no more than 3 selfi
 es by using the hashtag #BaysideRestaurant and tagging the restaurant on i
 ts Facebook and/or Instagram pages.  The winner\, who will be selected by
  a panel of established photographers and techies\, will receive a $100 gi
 ft card to dine at Bayside.\n       “Our dining room is filled wit
 h guests each night who pull out their cellphones to take photos of their 
 meals and each other\,” said Bayside owner Marc Ghoukassian.  “When w
 e learned there was a National Selfie Day\, we thought we could have some 
 fun with this national obsession thus the contest.”\n       All su
 bmissions must be made no later than noon on June 21.\n      Baysi
 de is a contemporary dining establishment with an extensive menu emphasizi
 ng fresh seafood. The 246-seat restaurant overlooks the tranquil waters of
  Newport Harbor and features design elements that showcase an ever-evolvin
