 redraw the boundaries of its Congressional\, State Senate\, State Assembly
 \, and State Board of Equalization districts every ten years to reflect th
 e new federal census population data.  In conformity with strict\, non-pa
 rtisan rules designed to produce districts of relatively equal population 
 and with the goal of providing fair representation for all Californians\, 
 the Citizens Redistricting Commission draws the boundaries for the Congres
 sional districts\, State Senate districts\, State Assembly districts\, and
  State Board of Equalization districts. Once the Commission has approved t
 he final four maps\, the maps are certified to the California Secretary of
  State with a report explaining the basis on which the Commission made its

  dedicated herself to continuing the cycle of leadership development and i
 nspiring Asian and Pacific Islanders to step up to leadership roles across
  sectors\, industries\, and communities.\n\nShe is the Chair of the Allian
 ce for Board Diversity and an appointed member of the California Departmen
 t of Insurance Diversity Task Force. She is also a member of the Asian/Asi
 an American Institute Advisory Board at California State University at Los
  Angeles as well as a Board member of the Asian Pacific Planning and Polic
