 n_text]Dave currently serves as the Director of Public Works for the City 
 of Newport Beach and came to the City with over thirty-one years of divers
 e administration\, management and engineering experience in both municipal
  and private project design &amp\; construction\, including land developme
 nt &amp\; entitlement processing.  Dave oversees the City’s $74 million
  Capital Improvement Program\, Civil and Transportation Engineering\, Publ
 ic Right-of-Way Development and Permitting\, Capital Project Construction 
 and Inspection\, Traffic and Signal System operations\, Surface Water Qual
 ity Compliance and Conservation\, and Municipal Maintenance Operation.  P
 rior to being promoted to Director of Public Works for the City in August 
 2012\, He served as the cities Deputy Director of Public Work &amp\; City 
 Engineer for five years.  Prior to Newport Beach\, Mr. Webb enjoyed 16 ye
 ars with the City on Huntington Beach where he served as City Engineer and
  Deputy Director of Public Works over Utilities and Maintenance Operations
 .   Before this\, he worked for several consulting firms including HDR E
 ngineering and Ott Engineering.\n\nMr. Webb earned a Master Degree in Publ
 ic Administration from California State University\, Long Beach as well as
  a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from California State P
 olytechnic University\, Pomona.  He is also licensed as a Registered Prof
 essional Civil Engineer in California.\n\nOutside of work\, Dave leads an 
 active family life with his wife and three children\, including boating\, 
 camping\, traveling.  He also enjoys gardening and home improvement proje
 cts (pending available time and funding).[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inne
