 ewport Beach in 1992. As the finance director\, Dan oversees the City’s 
 $300-million annual budget and its $250-million investment portfolio.\n\nH
 e is a frequently requested to speak at local government finance seminars 
 and is a frequent contributor to the California Society of Municipal Finan
 ce Officers Magazine.\n\nDan holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Acc
 ounting from the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University. He i
 s Certified California Municipal Treasurer and Certified Fixed Income Prac
