 xecutive Chef Paul Gstrein says that the $66 prix fixe dinner starts with 
 a choice of lobster salad or tuna tartar\, either Chilean sea bass or file
 t mignon as the entrée and birthday cake for dessert.\n\n“We are so gra
 teful to both locals and visitors to the area who have remained loyal to u
 s for so many years\,” said owner Marc Ghoukassian.  “Paul has craft
 ed a menu that appeals to nearly everyone and the $20 bounce back card is 
 just our way of saying ‘thanks.’”\n\nBayside is a contemporary dinin
 g establishment with an extensive menu emphasizing fresh seafood. Overlook
 ing the tranquil waters of Newport Harbor\, the 246-seat restaurant featur
 es a muted color scheme\, fabric covered booths and other seating\, favora
 ble lighting\, state-of-the-art acoustics and a generous use of Macassar e
 bony\, a rare wood from Indonesia.  The interior lends the ideal backdrop
  to Bayside's ever-evolving fine art exhibition.  The wrap-around patio c
