 ns. You will enjoy dinner and a presentation about the history of the libr
 ary and gardens by Director Paul Wormser.\n\nPaul joined Sherman Library &
 amp\; Gardens in June 2013. He was most recently the Deputy Director of th
 e Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum in Yorba Linda.\n\nThe Lib
 rary’s holdings include about 30\,000 linear feet of Presidential and do
 nated records\, extensive audio-visual materials\, a reference library and
  museum collections consisting of thousands of foreign and domestic gifts.
  In his role there\, Paul helped plan and implement Library programs and a
 ctivities\, oversaw budget\, facility\, and personnel administration. Prio
 r to his time at the Nixon Library\, Paul was the Regional Archives Direct
 or for the National Archives - Pacific Region in Laguna Niguel\, where he 
 supervised an archival staff responsible for preserving\, protecting and m
 aking available historically valuable Federal records created by field off
 ices in Southern California\, Arizona and Clark County\, Nevada. Paul also
  served as the Senior Archivist\, Archivist and Archives Technician at the
  same facility earlier in his career.\n\nPaul received his Master of Arts 
 and Bachelor of Arts degrees in History from the University of California 
 Riverside. He has been honored with a Sustained Service Award from the Soc
 iety of California Archivists\, and The Archivist’s Special Achievement 
 Award for Outstanding Achievement in Promoting Civic Understanding in a Di
 verse Society from National Archives and Records Administration.\nPaul’s
  professional activities include serving in volunteer leadership positions
  with the Society of California Archivists\, the Society of American Archi
 vists and the Western History Association. He is a published author and a 
 regular presenter at history\, genealogical and archivist conferences.\n\n
