For more tha n 50 years\, the school has been an internationally recognized pioneer in developing interdisciplinary approaches to social problems. Its highly ran ked faculty in criminology\, law and society\; urban planning and public p olicy\; and psychological science engage in research and education to fost er informed social action and make the world a better place. He helped cre ate and leads the UCI-OC Poll\, which regularly surveys Orange County res idents about pressing problems to help identify potential solutions.\n\nGo uld’s expertise covers justice policy\, social change and government re form.
