 rs.\n\nKatrina was elected to the Board of Supervisors in 2022 to represe
 nt the newly established District 5\, which includes the cities of Aliso V
 iejo\, Costa Mesa\, Dana Point\, a large portion of Irvine\, Laguna Beach\
 , Laguna Hills\, Laguna Niguel\, Laguna Woods\, Newport Beach\, San Clemen

 ng as Mayor between 2016-2017.\n\nFoley previously served on the Newport M
 esa Unified School District Board of Trustees from November 2010 to Novemb
 er 2014\, with a focus on making local Orange County communities better fo
 r families.\n\nSupervisor Foley is also President of the Foley Group\, PLC
 \, based out of Costa Mesa\, California. The Foley Group\, PLC provides se
 rvices in civil\, business\, and employment litigation. In 2001 and 2004\,
  Foley was honored by Women in Leadership and the National Association of 
 Women Business Owners at the annual “Remarkable Women Awards” event.\n

 s Third District\, representing over 630\,000 residents in the communities

 es\, Southern California Association of Governments\, the Orange County Co
 uncil of Governments\, the Orange County Local Agency Formation Commission

 a bachelor's degree from the University of California\, Los Angeles\, earn
 ing a Juris Doctorate in 1987 from the University of California\, Hastings
  College of Law\; he joined the California Bar that same year.\n\nSupervis
 or Wagner is a former South Orange County Community College District Trust
 ee for three consecutive terms\, balancing every budget and paying off all
  debts without additionally burdening the taxpayers. This leadership earne
 d him an unprecedented six years as Board President.\n\nDuring his six yea
 rs in the State Assembly\, he gained invaluable experience on a wide varie
 ty of committees\, including all the financial committees. As the former V
 ice-Chair of the Assembly Judiciary Committee\, his committee had jurisdic
 tion over the legal profession\, the courts\, and most state governing cod
 es. On financial committees\, he oversaw all state spending and revenue\, 
 quickly earning a reputation for expertise in government fiscal affairs\, 
 such that he was twice asked by the Association of California Cities – O
 range County to teach government finance and budgeting to local elected of
 ficials at UCI.\n\nDuring his time as Mayor of Irvine\, he ensured the Gre
 at Park project bloomed after $200 million was wasted away under prior cit
 y council leadership. He brings this level of service to the community at 
 the County level\; in 2019\, he expanded public resources without raising 
 taxes when he reopened Irvine Lake for shoreline fishing. The Lake was pre
 viously closed for three years to the public. Supervisor Wagner continues 
 to engage directly with the residents to help address local issues\, impro
 ve public safety\, and enhance the quality of life in Orange County.\n\nHe
  is an active participant in Orange County business and legal communities 
 with prior service on several committees and advisory boards for the Orang
 e County Bar Association\, including a Judge Pro Tempore in the Superior C
 ourt of Orange County. The Orange County Register\, Los Angeles Times\, Ca
 lifornia Globe\, Fox News\, and several local media outlets have published
  his articles on legal\, political\, and cultural topics.\n\nHe has dedica
 ted his free time to nonprofits and charities\, serving as the past presid
 ent of the American Lung Association of Orange County. He is also the foun
 der and first president of the Orange County Chapter of the Federalist Soc
 iety\, a national organization of lawyers\, judges\, and law professors th

 guished scholar in justice policy\, social change and government reform wh
 o has held key positions in the U.S. Department of Justice and the Nationa
 l Science Foundation. He assumed the deanship on Jan. 1\, 2022.\n\nGould l
 eads the nation’s only school of social ecology\, established in 1970 in
  response to high demand for more socially relevant research. For more tha
 n 50 years\, the school has been an internationally recognized pioneer in 
 developing interdisciplinary approaches to social problems. Its highly ran
 ked faculty in criminology\, law and society\; urban planning and public p
 olicy\; and psychological science engage in research and education to fost
 er informed social action and make the world a better place. He helped cre
 ate and leads the UCI-OC Poll\, which regularly surveys Orange County res
 idents about pressing problems to help identify potential solutions.\n\nGo
 uld’s expertise covers justice policy\, social change and government re
 form. He was the principal investigator for the Preventing Wrongful Convic
 tions Project\, a multiyear research initiative funded by the National Ins
 titute of Justice. He is the author of five books and more than 100 articl
 es and reports on such diverse subjects as erroneous convictions\, indigen
 t defense\, prosecutorial innovation\, police behavior\, hate speech\, sex
 ual harassment and international human rights. He earned a master’s deg
 ree in public policy and a law degree at Harvard University and a Ph.D. in
  political science at The University of Chicago.\n\nGould has filled a ran
 ge of government leadership roles\, including senior policy adviser in the
  U.S. Department of Justice and director of the Law &amp\; Social Sciences
  Program at the National Science Foundation. In 2015\, U.S. Chief Justice 
 John Roberts appointed him as reporter for a committee of the federal cour
 ts evaluating the operation of the Criminal Justice Act. Gould is a fellow
  of the American Bar Foundation\, a former U.S. Supreme Court Fellow and a
  former trustee of the Law &amp\; Society Association. He received the Adm
 inistration of Justice Award from the U.S. Supreme Court Fellows Alumni As
