DESCRIPTION:Come join Toshiba and the rest of Orange County as they gather 
 for the Toshiba Classic held at the Newport Beach Country Club. The Toshib
 a Classic has become a tradition in the Orange County community\, due to i
 ts support and generosity towards Hoag Institutes and other local chariti
 es.\n\nProceeds have benefited the Mary &amp\; Dick Allen Diabetes Center 
 at Hoag.  The mission of the Allen Diabetes Center is to make a differenc
 e by improving the quality of life for all people with diabetes or at risk
  of diabetes\, through prevention\, early detection\, prompt care\, educat
 ion and support. In addition to Hoag\, tournament proceeds have also been 
 contributed to more than 45 other charities. The Toshiba Classic also has 
 a Scholarship Program in which they have given out countless scholarships 
 in the past years.\n\nThe tournament also provides additional benefit to t
 he community beyond the charitable impact. The Toshiba Classic is televise
 d domestically on the Golf Channel\, and internationally on PGA TOUR telev
 ision partners overseas. This exposure for our community provides benefits
