We would like to thank the men and women who have volunteered their time toward the various activities of the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce during last year.

Sixty of these individuals were honored at our Annual Meeting & Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon in May of 2006. Because of the continued support of our membership, we are recognized as one of the top Chambers of Commerce in the nation.

In fact, in a recent survey of our membership, we preformed better than ever. 69% of those participating ranked their outlook towards our organization as "very favorable"-the highest ranking possible. We couldn't be more proud of this overwhelming positive response to our program of work.

In the coming year, the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce will be celebrating an important milestone. As we prepare to mark our first century of service to the Newport Beach community, we would like to acknowledge the many business leaders who have demonstrated their commitment to our organization by contributing countless volunteer hours to help shape our business community. Although its important to recognize our past, it is more important to plan for the future.

The chamber will continue its role in serving as the voice of the business, and providing innovative ideas and leadership for our community. We look forward to serving you in 2006-2007 as we prepare to celebrate our centennial anniversary.
